New dates for Laser Europe 2011 congress have been announced. The Congress will take place at the Corinthia Towers Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, from 25th to 26th November, 2011.

Russian-German conference INNOVATIVE VERFAHREN IN DER MEDIZIN took place in St. Petersburg, Russia (April 18, 2011). It was organized with support of EMLA, several members of EMLA participated there. Members of EMLA, Prof.I. Savinov, MD, PhD, Dr. A. Ivanov participated at the conference as members of organizing committee, and Prof. S. Klyuchareva MD, PhD and Dr. Ju. Ragulin presented scientific reports.

Several members of EMLA participated at International Congress Laser Bucharest 2010 (November 11-13, 2010).

Laser Bucharest 2010 was organized by the Military Technical Academy (Bucharest, Romania). Several prominent laser professionals from different countries participated at the congress, including David Baxter, Juanita Anders, Mary Dyson, Kira Samoilova and Lars Hode among others.
Penny Smalley, Lutz Wilden, Anu Makela, Levon Gasparyan, Hans Romberg, members of Executive Committee of EMLA and EMLA - auf deutsch had possibility to discuss urgent topics.
